Maggie and Matt's High Summer Camp Wedding Weekend at Ohana Family Camp in Post Mills, Vermont

Maggie and Matt are both the kind of people that lean into the words of the people speaking with them- they invest time and interest into the lives of each person they come across, and it’s apparent as soon as you begin a conversation with them. Currently Upper Valley residents, they have strong roots in our community through their time at Dartmouth, Maggie’s job at a local high school, and Matt’s enrollment at Geisel school of medicine, and used their weekend at Ohana as a reunion for their college friends who also love the area, and an introduction for those who hadn’t yet experienced a time at a place dear to their hearts.
If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you’ll know Ohana is a place dear to my heart. I love the views of Lake Fairlee, seeing my dear friend Gretchen, who is the wedding coordinator, and trying the delicious food always present at the camp. My favorite thing about Ohana, however, is the way people are able to relax and disconnect with the world while reconnecting with the people surrounding them. It was such a delight to watch Maggie, Matt, and their guests kick back throughout the weekend, from Friday evening’s trivia night, to Saturday’s dance party!
