Mikayla and Micah's Dog-Friendly Camping Wedding at Allis State Park in Brookfield, Vermont
It was such a pleasure working with Mikayla and Micah for several reasons. First, they’ve been so much fun to be around and incredibly easy-going that every step of collaborating with them has felt like we’re old friends. Second, they live locally, had their first date at our favorite burger joint, and live at a legit state park 30 minutes from our house. Finally, they just adopted the cutest puppy, Tucker, who had a ball throughout the wedding day and was absolutely pooped by the end of the evening.
Allis State Park is a special place for Mikayla and Micah- they’ve both lived and worked there for two years, and know the land there by heart. Many of their friends and family members camped at the park, and even Mikayla and Micah claimed a lean-to site (their favorite) so they could camp alongside their friends for the weekend. It was so much fun to discover a state park we’d never been to before that’s so close to our house!
