The Best of 2021
It was a year of victory, of change, of my favorite group of clients of all time. The year we went back to dance floors and full weddings. The first year I photographed a wedding in a barn that Jeff designed and built.
It was the busiest year we’ve ever had, with rebookings from 2020 mixed into the weddings we had already planned for 2020, plus a plethora of elopements and intimate weddings in-between. Somehow, I was seldom stressed handling the editing, shooting, and childcare, which I attribute to spending the last winter organizing and streamlining.
The year started with lots of rain, transitioned to an abundance of golden light, and finished with a ceremony in a snowstorm. Rain, snow, or sun, every couple we photographed embraced the weather and the season, resulting in unique images that reflected the feeling of each wedding.
This year showed me that whatever the year brings, we have the flexibility, the positivity, and the skills to create beautiful collaborations with each of our clients, and what an absolute pleasure it is to do what we do!
