Jamie and Paul's Basin Harbor Wedding in Vergennes, Vt.
We spent Saturday afternoon photographing before and during Jamie and Paul's exquisite wedding at the Basin Harbor Club in Vergennes, Vermont. Jamie grew up coming to Basin Harbor, staying with her family in the picturesque cottages that dot the lakeside resort, and wanted to continue the tradition with Paul. The calm waters of Lake Champlain combined with the golden September light made their wedding a delight to photograph! Jamie is a friend of one of my favorite brides from last year, Kimmie, and this wedding had the same elegance and energy that I love.
Some of our favorite parts of the day.
-Paul and his groomsmen arrived to the ceremony in a 1930's Chris Craft boat, and Jeff rode along to document the entire thing- he says this was his favorite moment of our wedding season so far.
-Jamie and Paul both got ready in beautiful, light-filled cottages, with stunning views of the lake. I loved finding spots around the cottages to photograph Jamie's lovingly-selected details.
-The ceremony was held on a dock, creating the sweetest, peaceful atmosphere for the wedding.
