Film at Weddings

Jill and Jeremy, who had a beautiful camp wedding late last month in Corinth, Vermont, asked us a few weeks before their wedding if we could shoot a roll of film in addition to our regular coverage, and we were more than happy to oblige. Jeff and I both spent several semesters shooting and developing film and making prints, and the first several years I worked with my parents it was all still film, so it was a great excuse to get back to our roots.

We had a roll of film leftover from their wedding, and used it a few weeks later, when we were guests at our friends' wedding. Andrew and Rita celebrated their wedding and their new farm in Bethel, Vt., on a surreal, foggy day (if you follow my Instagram, you'll know this is my FAVORITE kind of weather).

After a heads up from a fellow local wedding photographer, I used THEFINDLAB, a high-end film lab in Utah to develop and scan the rolls. We absolutely loved using film these past few weeks, and we'll now be offering it as an add-on to our weddings and engagement shoots.
