Caitlin and Leran's Brunch Wedding at the Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm

After Caitlin and Leran's wedding at the Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm this past Sunday, we are now evangelists for the brunch wedding. Soft light, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere abounded throughout the morning and early afternoon.

We met Caitlin, Leran, and their dogs Yoko and Coco at their home in Cambridge earlier this year to photograph them making cookies and get to know them. When we met their family and friends this weekend it was clear to see where they'd gotten their sweetness and easy-going natures from- we've seldom seen so many kind people together in one place!

Some of our favorite parts of the day:

-The ceremony included seven readings from close friends, some serious, some humorous. There was even a reading from one of the Muppets movies!

-Caitlin and Leran, both self-professed foodies, paid close attention to the food at their coffee hour and brunch. There was a bagel station, cider doughnuts, bloody mary bar, and chicken and waffle siders, among many other things. The cake was a giant cinnamon roll!

-Caitlin and Leran spent months learning how to waltz before their wedding, and after their ceremony, took a few minutes to themselves to practice before their first dance.

- Since there were nineteen kids at the wedding, lawn games were spread out around the reception area, and everyone spent the afternoon playing!
