Cara and Ivan's Engagement Session at the Tunbridge World's Fair
When Cara and Ivan inquired early last month about an engagement session at one of my favorite places in the world, the Tunbridge World's Fair in our little town of Tunbridge, Vermont, I was ecstatic. When we met for beers at the Worthy Burger to get to know each other and talk about the session, I just kept getting more excited.
Cara, a lawyer, and Ivan, a tattoo artist, met online, and after a first date that both of them admit was less than ideal, they both went their separate ways, until several months later, when Cara decided to get her first tattoo, and found her way into Ivan's tattoo shop where they realized their potential. They quickly fell in love, and Ivan proposed this summer over a beautiful, elaborate breakfast that he made.
Cara and Ivan asked me to be "a friend with a camera" who followed them around as they explored the fair- one of their favorite places. We goofed off all around the one-of-a-kind fair, and I quickly fell in love with their easy smiles and natural curiosity (especially for new food).
I'd absolutely love to collaborate on a session like this again, especially with such a fabulously unique couple like Cara and Ivan!
