Katrina and Andy's Sunset Wedding at the Lakeview Inn

While spending the day with Katrina and Andy, we loved watching their relationship they've been working on since high school: one founded on trust, and refined by growing up together. Their close-knit group of friends- many they've known since high school- testified that Katrina and Andy are the anchor of their circle, faithful and fun!

Katrina had a vision for their ceremony since she contacted us last year, and we loved seeing it fall perfectly into place, from the weather, to the timing of the sunset. Surrounded by their favorite people, under the hills glowing gold with sunset, Katrina and Andy said their beautifully-written vows. After a sparkler (!!!) group photo, everyone ran inside to eat tacos and dance!

Some of our favorite moments of the day:

-Always by her side, Katrina's friends greatly helped make the wedding less stressful by running errands and keeping her laughing. As she waited between family photos and the ceremony, her friends decided to forgo the cocktail hour to spend some quality time with her.

-The Lakeview Inn was a new venue for us, and we had the best time traversing the grounds with Katrina and Andy, finding fields speckled with fall color, sneaking into the antique store for photos, and playing with the golden light that seemed to be everywhere.

-Instead of a sparkler exit, Katrina and Andy planned a group photo with sparklers, right after the sun had set. Not only was it unique, but it was a great way to celebrate right after the ceremony.

-Not waiting for dinner to be finished, a group of friends and family pushed tables out of the way and got the dancing started early! Soon, the entire room was on their feet and dancing the rest of the night away.
