Becca and Davis' Bright, Classy Wedding at the Mad River Barn in Waitsfield, Vermont

In a summer that has been full of hot, humid days and cool, rainy days, Becca and Davis hit the jackpot- perfect weather and cloud cover that set the stage for the most lovely Vermont summer celebration. Vermont has been an important place for Becca and Davis at different points in their life- it’s where Davis’ family lives, and where Becca has studied, lived, and made dear friends, so it made sense to embrace the Vermont traditions of hospitality, fun, and beauty.

This was my first time working at the Mad River Barn (where I was pleasantly surprised to see former groom, David, who is co-owner of this beautiful modern glass barn, restaurant, and Inn), and I loved exploring around the gardens and woods throughout the day. Becca and Davis also brought all their close family and wedding party to a sweeping view of the mountains nearby for photos. My favorite part of Becca and Davis’ wedding (besides the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream cart, which seemed to be a favorite for plenty of guests too!) was watching them turn into absolute party animals as soon as the band, A House on Fire, began playing. I don’t think I ever saw Becca leave the dance floor all night, except to snag some ice cream!
