Anna and Josh's Fun-Filled Farm Wedding at Landgoes Farm in Tunbridge, Vermont
Many thanks to my friend Daria who second shot for Anna and Josh’s wedding- that sweet swing photo is hers, and several others too
Anna first reached out to me several years ago to make a new Tunbridge connection and also to tour the house Jeff and I built together. In the message she explained that she and her boyfriend, Josh, were building a house together on the other side of Tunbridge, and wanted to swap ideas and inspiration. When she came over to visit, I quickly knew she’d become a friend, and we’ve connected over the years with cross country ski dates, puppysitting, watching their house transform into one of the most beautiful and unique places I’ve seen, and random hangouts. When she proposed to Josh by stomping “Marry Me?” in the snow, some of our hangouts took on more of a wedding planning feel, as I shared vendors, do’s and don’ts, and would check in on progress.
Anna and Josh postponed their wedding one year so their many friends could attend and celebrate with them- it was absolutely worth the wait! With brighter weather than their previous date, guests enjoyed the landscape complete with lawn games, sheep, a Highland Cow named Mookie Betts, a super fun swing, and horses to pet. With the venue just five minutes from my house, getting to work with dear friends (I know I mostly mentioned Anna in the beginning, but besides his crazy talent in all things carpentry and design, Josh is the sweetest, and you’ll notice he has the best smile too), and capturing people enjoying a golden June day, it barely felt like a work day for me.
