Sonja and Phil's Elegant, Sun-Dappled Wedding Weekend at Edson Hill in Stowe, Vermont

Early into our first phone call with Sonja and Phil back in December, Jeff and I both each other the look that said “we like these people”. We recognized almost immediately the same decisive passion, creativity, and attention to detail in Sonja and Phil that we strive to have in our own daily lives, not to mention how friendly, encouraging, and open they were even in that phone call.

Watching Sonja and Phil’s vision come together over the last nine months has been one of my favorite parts of the year, culminating in the most perfect early-fall day, complete with our favorite light illuminating all the details. Their planner, and our frien-dor Randi Nonni, brought her own creativity and constant sense of calm to turn dreams into reality. Sonja and Phil wanted quality over quantity, gathering 50 of their dearest friends and family to dine under the stars, making each guest at the wedding feel truly honored and special.

Of all our favorite parts of the wedding, two that stand out was getting to photograph the floral genius of Danika of Blomma Flicka, and getting to spend the day hanging out with Sonja and Phil, who we no longer call clients, but instead, dear friends.
