Elise and Trevor's Laid-Back, Forest Home, Pizza Party Wedding in Plainfield, New Hampshire
Sometimes, perfection is found by the most roundabout way. For Elise and Trevor, that was achieved by planning their wedding at least three different times before their intimate celebration at their home in Plainfield, New Hampshire. Choosing their home, which they had planned, designed together, and moved into last year, as the center of their wedding was the absolute decision. Not only is their home beautiful (and still smells like new house!) on the inside, the surrounding land that they’ve begun to work their loving touches on this summer was a magical setting for their wedding with their closest friends and family.
I was so impressed by Elise, who is a planner by nature, as she deftly pivoted and together with Trevor, planned and organized their wedding in two weeks. For those who worry about not having enough time to execute a fabulous event- the wedding went FLAWLESSLY. Friends and family rallied around to deliver pizza, make favors, arrange flowers, clean the house, and wrangle Elise and Trevor’s dog, Puck. The result was the happiest Monday evening party ever that celebrated the true core of Elise and Trevor.
One final note: Jeff and I feel so lucky that Elise and Trevor live so close to us, because we’ve gained friends, ski buddies, and people who know the insanity that is decision making when building a house!
