Anna and Gardner's Garden Party Wedding with Endless Light in Thetford, Vermont
Anna and Gardner both possess the infinite joy and curiosity of children and the calmness of those who have been there and done that more than a few times. This wonderful personality combo was seen throughout the wedding day the two spent the day if not in each others’ arms, then dancing or frolicking with their favorite folks. We loved photographing them around Anna’s grandparents property, where the wedding was held and watching them easily cuddle up together.
Anna’s grandparents bought the property when Anna was a baby, and have spent the subsequent years transforming a run-down old sheep farm into a magical property with lush perennial gardens and an antique-filled 1700’s home. The ceremony took place on the pond, and afterwards, guests traversed paths in the field beyond with a view of the mountains.
Instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, the couple opted to have a casual buffet and non-stop dancing, and true to their planning, the dance floor was full all night long!
We loved getting to spend the day in this enchanted garden with the best kind of party people right on the cusp of the solstice.
