Teresa and Travis' Engagement Session at their Massachusetts Loft Apartment
Teresa and Travis' engagement session wasn't just an opportunity for them to get some photos of them to announce their marriage, it was also a way to show their life in the loft they've shared and decorated together for the past few years (they're moving soon and wanted a keepsake of this special place), AND a way to include their adorable Puerto Rican rescue dog, Frida, in their images. Frankly, photographing a couple in the place they are most comfortable in (their home), with the creature they love the most (their dog), is the best way to begin a photographic relationship with anyone. It also is a big help that Teresa and Travis are some of the easiest people to hang out with. We talked about anything and everything during their session and we even shared some embarrassing stories that helped us all grow closer and more comfortable throughout the evening. My favorite part was when we were photographing outside their apartment, which is in an old mill building, and a buddy of theirs who works at their favorite bar shouted encouragement to them from the bar across the street. Jeff and I can't wait to photograph their wedding in Vermont in September 2019!
