Eve and Matt's Intimate Foodie Wedding in South Londonderry, Vt.

Eve and Matt's wedding was our last wedding of our incredible 2015 wedding season, and it went out on a cozy and delicious note at the SoLo Farm and Table in South Londonderry, Vt. We had photographed at the farm-to-table restaurant for a food feature for Seven Days a couple years ago, and fondly remembered Wes and Chloe's hospitality, so we jumped at the chance to return, this time for a wedding.

Eve and Matt planned an evening where their closest friends and family could celebrate with them with a fireside ceremony, an extended cocktail hour with a plethora of unique appetizers, and a big dinner. We enjoyed watching old friends and family reconnect, and relax in such a lovely setting for a crisp fall evening.

Some of our favorite parts of the evening:

-Matt is a talented glassblowing artist and instructor in Boston, and he connected with Eve when she signed up to attend one of his classes. Because glass is a shared passion and an integral part of their story, Matt made each guest a glass vessel as their wedding favor, and the vases and cups were placed around the restaurant as decoration.

-Because food was a focal point at the celebration, we enjoyed spending some time photographing the preparation of food for cocktail hour and the main course, as well as details of the finished cuisine.

-When Eve contacted us about photographing her wedding, she described her vision of an "informal and casual affair with just our closet friends and family." "Each guest is very important to us," she said, so it was fun to be able to capture each of the unique personalities of every guest throughout the night.
