Natalie and Ben's West-Meets-East Intimate Wedding at the West Hill House Bed and Breakfast in Warren, Vermont
Natalie and Ben found each other while working as wranglers at a dude ranch in Colorado, one of the coolest ways (in my opinion) to meet your future partner. According to them both, it was Natalie’s confidence, humor, hard work, and persistence (and great communication skills!) that began their relationship. Getting to know them and working with them both this winter has been one of the highlights of this new year so far- their love and respect for each other is apparent as soon as you meet them, and when I met their families this past Saturday, I could clearly see where their examples for good, kind, trusting bonds had come from.
After cross-country moves and career changes, Natalie and Ben have settled in Vermont, and wanted a cozy, intimate wedding with their favorite people to celebrate where they've been and the new trails they’re blazing. With a high of 0F on Saturday, we all were lucky that their families and friends (all from MA, MN, and CO) were cold-hearty and braved the cold for family photos with no complaints! To pay homage to the western roots of their relationship, Natalie and Ben incorporated cowboy boots, hats, and even an impromptu line dance party after their fireside ceremony!
I love photographing intimate weddings in the winter, and the entire crew at Natalie and Ben’s wedding made this one so special.
