Annie and Steven's Surprise-Sunshine Wedding Weekend at the Inn at Weathersfield, in Perkinsville, Vermont

My dear friend who also happens to be a wicked good photographer, Em, of Pogo Photo, was my partner in badass photo creation for Annie and Steven’s wedding this weekend, and several of these photos are hers

I spent most of the week refreshing the weather app on my phone in anticipation of Annie and Steven’s wedding. Things did not look good, even on the day of- 80% chance of heavy rain and thunderstorms at 4pm, the time when Annie and Steven would be in the outdoor chapel in the woods at the Inn at Weathersfield for their ceremony. From the time their wedding festivities began to the time they ended, the rain completely held off, and instead, radiant sunshine ruled the majority of the day.

Annie and Steven’s wedding was one of the ones I was looking forward to the most this year, ever since we frolicked around Shelburne Farms for their engagement session last year, and I knew not only did I have two wonderful co-collaborators, but also instant friends. The way they just melt into each other when they embrace is total trust and love made concrete.

I was thrilled that Annie and Steven hired A House on Fire to keep the dance floor rocking, and neither band nor dancers disappointed- keeping Em and I entertained with good music and sick moves!
