Liz and Travis' Summer in the Middle of Spring Wedding at the Inn at Manchester in Manchester, Vermont

I met Liz and Travis two summers ago, at Molly and Bill’s backyard wedding in Colorado, and immediately felt like they were my friends. Liz is warm, bubbly, and quick to laugh, while Travis has a quiet, dry humor that never fails to crack me up. I’ve had the treat of seeing (and photographing!) them at two other family weddings before they reached out about photographing their own.

Liz and Travis live in Colorado, where they enjoy planning elaborate adventures in the mountains, fly fishing, and spoiling their dog Bentley. To honor Liz’s Vermont roots and celebrate in a place they love as much as Colorado, they chose the Inn at Manchester, where many of their guests stayed and celebrated throughout the weekend, cooling off in the pool, and gathering the night before on the Inn’s beautiful porch.

While it was the first hot day of the season and champagne bottles cooling in ice kept voluntarily popping, the shade of the ceremony spot and the air-conditioned barn were a welcome respite to all the guests, and Liz and Travis never melted! I loved getting to join the dance party full of many people I’ve gotten to know and love over the past few years of family weddings.
