Teresa and Travis' Fun-For-All-Ages Farm Wedding at CrossHaven Farm in Moretown, Vermont
On Saturday, with a 100% chance of scattered showers, Teresa wasn’t stressed in the least about rain on her wedding day. That’s because she had not one, but two rain plans typed out and ready to implement in case the clouds opened up. Neither plan had to be implemented, as dramatic clouds and sun reigned over the day, which gave us incredible light to work with, and plenty of happy guests spending time outside.
Teresa and Travis are ambitious as they are laid back- the DIY details spread throughout the day (especially the beautiful table settings designed by Teresa and the 300 yards of cheesecloth hung by Travis) were a perfect accent to the pristine property of CrossHaven Farm, but not once did I see the couple anxious about any of the moving parts of their celebration. Instead, they leaned in, laughed a lot, and even were able to make each other maple creemees (our favorite alternative to cake-cutting).
The relaxed atmosphere of the farm allowed everyone, from five-month-old Cici, to Grandpa Nelson, to feel right at home and have an equal part of the party.
